Heartgold Soulsilver gotta be the best. So much content and replayability, just a perfect remake of the original Gold/Silver. Beautiful sprite work, amazing soundtrack. It's just supreme.1 -

I would choose houndoom because I could basically play with them like my dog and they could also protect me.1 -

Venasaur. It's powerful, strong enough to carry me, and it's vines could help me get to higher-up places.1 -
