  • Cyndaquil was always my favourite in gen 2, but Chicorita was my second pick. I don't think I've ever actually done a run with Totodile. It's funny. When gen 5 was first announced Oshawott was considered the goofy looking ugly one that no one would pick. There were web comics making jokes about it. Yet as time has gone on,…
  • Where's Green? He was champion before Red? Where's Hau? That was one of the few changes I liked to USUM's story. Why is Ash here? I personally really like Lance. He has a cool design, an imposing and totally legitimate team and you actively see him in the world fighting Team Rocket. Steven I found a little underwhelming,…
  • https://community.pokemon.com/en-us/discussion/comment/77225#Comment_77225 It's perfectly okay to enjoy these games even if they are unpopular or widely criticised. I don't think anyone is trying to take your fun away. But if everyone else is criticising them and citing the same issues, it might be worth considering that…
  • The anime and the games are different continuities. The Pokémon Centre ladies are unnamed, and not implied to be related in any way.

  • I would like to see the game on more platforms. A PC is much more comfortable for longer gaming sessions than a smartphone. I would say add it as a format to Pokémon TCG Live, but that game has been horribly mismanaged and is much lower quality.
  • I think this is slightly quicker because the reveal of the other cards and the one you picked is combined into one animation on the same screen. I haven't timed it, but it feels faster. I wish there was an option to reveal them all in one go, rather than slow rolling it.
  • Part of the problem is internet and gaming culture in general. Otherwise innocuous, previously well intentioned and polite expressions (such as "good game"/gg) have been abused and used sarcastically to the point that they are now often assumed to be intended to cause offence. The internet's proclivity for cynicism,…
  • https://community.pokemon.com/en-us/discussion/comment/76011#Comment_76011 We have had it multiple times. It keeps coming back. I don't know why people keep responding to Facebook engagement bait.
  • Well, if they can put it on Home and the GTS, I guess it gets through Game Freak's filters. I suppose it is unfortunate for the people who don't know any better and trade valuable Pokémon for them, particularly children. All we can really do is advocate for better filters to stop them appearing on the network, but my main…
