Generation 5, easily. Gen 4 looks a lot better when you include HGSS and the DS era was the peak of the franchise, but judging based purely on the core games of each generation, gen 5 is the obvious choice.

Denuvo is awful, restricts legitimate purchasers of legal software and is detrimental to game performance. Whatever you may think of hackers and "piracy", Denuvo is not the solution.

In the name of all that is holy, I pray that isn't true. That would move the S2 from a "maybe I'll pick one up sometime" to an absolute no-buy. Pokémon games already run badly enough. Stick Denuvo in there and we'll be lucky to break single digit FPS.

I agree with this. The video games are the heart of the franchise, and the TCG is one of its larger branches.
