It's a child-focused franchise. They aren't going to let randos on the internet talk to them. And even if you did find a way to ensure that only adults could use it, it would still be used primarily to trade abuse and insults rather than compliments. It would need to be heavily moderated and necessitate a report function.…

Games have always had a first turn advantage issue. The player going first in many games is statistically the most likely to win. Everything from chess to TCGs have wrestled with this problem, and games that try to address it have different ways of handling it. Many TCGs do not let the first turn player draw, or give the…

You weren't driving while playing, were you? That is a very bad idea.

Wait, doesn't the game already let you pick foreign cards? I often see English and Spanish (I think) cards in my picks. They convert to your app language when you use them in game, but in your collection they appear in their original language. @DoubleCure A desktop version is possible, but unlikely in this day and age. It…

What do you mean by "alternative forum"? Simply as another place to talk about Pokémon? Or as somewhere to go instead of the official forum, replacing it entirely? Generally I think it is good for fandoms to maintain multiple communities. If there is only one place to discuss things, there tends to be one dominant culture…

In fact, I think it is more likely thst they will become less frequent to encourage more people to subscribe to the premium pass and pay for refills. It is possible that they will add a more expensive pass tier. With regards to your third point, many things are…

Gardevoir is not reliable. Coin flips aren't the only variance in a card game. Your deck is shuffled and the cards you draw and have access to are random. It is worth remembering that Gardevoir is a stage 2 evolution. You need to draw all three forms to be able to use its ability, and it takes at least 3 turns to get…

Because now you are expected to download an app instead. And make some in-app purchases, of course.

Assuming a functioning game where losses due to bugs are minimal (which is what we should strive for, don't design a system to compensate for bugs. Fix the bugs) I think losses should result in a loss of rank. If you are guaranteed never to lose rank and only gain it, then it is theoretically possible for even the worst…

I haven't looked into it, but my guess would be that they are making other games in the Mystery Dungeon franchise or other games in general. I suppose it could also be something on the Pokémon side of the crossover. Maybe other Pokémon projects are the priority right now.
