    Hello, and welcome to the forums! Your email is shown on your account though, which might not be good. You can make it so that no one can see it by clicking your avatar (currently a Poké Ball) on the top right of the site, then clicking "Account & Privacy Settings". If "Display my email publicly" has a check mark next to it, click the check mark to remove it, which will make it so your email isn't visible by everyone who checks your profile.

      I remember commenting on a profile doesn't send a notification, but commenting on a comment does, so I'm posting this to make sure you see this.
