  • Skitty and Delcatty were designed to be used in contests, but contests aren't a thing in the series anymore. They could really use either a regional form or a third evolution (or both) to keep them relevant.
  • For the current DLC, Gliscor is exclusive to Scarlet, and Ambipom is exclusive to Violet. Gliscor is way better than Ambipom, so that's a point in Scarlet's favor. The only others I know about are Cramorant for Scarlet and Morpeko for Violet.
  • This is the beta Pokémon I wish they'd kept the most, right up there with Woofman/Warwoof. Spheal is also cute, but I'm not quite sure I buy the fan theory that Kotora's design eventually evolved into it.
  • @Elberta , I like the idea of different difficulty levels, but I'm not sure if I like the restrictions on healing moves and pseudos. Restricting box legendaries and other Pokémon designed to be overpowered seems fine, but if you restrict the use of held items and healing moves, I feel like it'd give too much of an edge to…
  • I'd like to see a facility in the vein of the Battle Pyramid from Emerald, or the White Treehollow from White 2. Essentially, a giant underground facility you can explore with your team of 3 Pokémon, full of random encounters of both wild Pokémon and trainers, items, and maybe traps that damage your Pokémon or inflict…
  • Two picks of mine: * Dewgong is one of the weakest and most forgettable gen 1 Pokémon, and could really use an evolution. Not only could the evolution be a formidable threat in its own right, but it'd let Dewgong use Eviolite and become surprisingly tanky, especially in the snow. It'd be funny if they kept up with the…

  • People say that Ice is the worst type in the game, but I think Rock is worse. Both of them are awful defensive typings with good offensive matchups, but Ice moves tend to have better accuracy for their power, and there are more fast offensive Ice-types than Rock-types. Rock has had it really bad since gen 2, where Steel…
  • I'd like this idea more if it wasn't for one move: U-turn. U-turn is a very commonly-used move in competitive play, and I suspect that Fairies were made to resist Bug to add extra counterplay to U-turn spam. Being weak to Bug is a surprisingly big downside, and can mess up Pokémon with as much going for them elsewhere as…
  • Maybe you could have it resist Electric? In real life, ice doesn't conduct electricity, and in-game, it'd be a buff to the weak Ice/Water-types like Dewgong, Walrein, and Arctovish. Though, Electric already has enough problems with the most commonly-used type (Ground) countering it, and this change would make Iron Bundle…
