  • Honestly, a lot of gen 1 designs were lazy. Sure, there were plenty of bangers, but there's also the Pidgey line, Rattata line, Ekans line, etc. It's a bunch of real world animals with some small changes. I get why they exist, world building is important, but it doesn't mean they aren't lazy.
