If you really were a game developer, you'd know that matchmaking is a bit tricky to get right. I've found it pretty good in UNITE. You should be far more offended at their practice of releasing stupidly broken pokemon (Zacian, Leafeon, Mewtwolololol) that ruin the game by making all others obsolete.

Even after the emergency patch, Mewtwo is bending entire games around it. Every match is now, "Mewtwo + his 4 supporters." It's very bad for the game. I honestly have no idea how Pokemon like Zacian, Leafeon, and Mewtwo make it past testing. If the power creep is really going to continue like this, essentially it's like…

Pretty niche. It's good on, say, an ulting Pikachu, but the question is usually, "Is Eject Button better?" and the answer is usually yes. =\

I hope not. The Mega mechanic as they've added it here is not well designed... becoming super-powerful for a while sounds fun in theory, but there really is no counterplay for the opponent except "run away." Not great gameplay.
