Yeah, out of all TCGs pokemon seems to have the most balanced between going second and first. (Not saying they're equal, but compared to magic and yugioh they're a LOT closer). So I don't understand why it was changed. Not being able to at least attach an energy going first is such a huge disadvantage. I despise going…
