  • Lol if you want to see how bad the bots are try testing a deck from the editing screen. Sometimes it does feel like your opponent has all right cards, but this is just a competive game and there are a lot of combos you can pull off if you get lucky. Maybe try a new deck if you are getting frustrated.

  • This is a bug, I haven't seen it in a long time though. It's because there are other cards in the game like Grant that you can select from the discard. If this happens just restart your game.

  • Other than the obvious pokemon that might cause this intentionally (Dialga VSTAR or Medicham V) it is probably a server issue. If you do a speed test and you are less than 100 mbps then that might explain it.

  • Also since no one mentioned it, Jirachi only stops damage counters from BASIC pokemon and only when they attack. So mimikyu vmax or annihilape ex will bypass it since they are evolution pokemon.   • Are you sure you didn't miss a turn, they used the rare candy on the same turn they benched frigibax? That would be a pretty game breaking bug if it's true. Did you get any recording or screenshots?
