Yes as long as they keep it as an option like you said, but don't completely remove it... it's needed for tournaments and "serious" battling friends.2 -

The game aggregates all the card rarities in "a single card" in the deck builder, so to choose correctly you have to select the dropdown bellow the enlarged card and choose the card rarity …1 -
