In fairness, this bug is devilishly hard to prevent. Testing would be done locally for any studio, so unless a bug like this happened before no testing scenario would cover different timezones.1 -

Close your game completely. Set your timezone to something inside the US, New York works fine. Now start the game. Afterwards you can immediately set your timezone back to automatic. See the excellen…2 -
