How did you misspell the name twice while looking at it? Anyway, when you have a free spot on your bench and no cards in your hand, open your discard pile and click the card.3 -

yea turns out the format on mobile tricked me into thinking that I was able to have 6 pokemon on bench when the max is 5. I tried it again and it works.1 -

The ex should be lowercase. Besides that, if you're losing to a version with Arcanine ex your deck is just bad. I bet you're playing cards like Clavell, Jacq, Lady, and Great Ball.2
