Perhaps promos will be in their own category and always tradable? Or count as part of the set current at the time they released? Limited availability cards are the ones people want to trade the most, along with high rarities, so it is bizarre that trading is being limited almost exclusively to cards people do not want to…

@Eremas My favorite part on Pokémon is the curves Big Gardevoir and Lopunny fan, huh? But I do agree with you on Dragapult. Its head looks flat and bizarre, and firing smaller versions of itself as missiles looks more like something out of a yonkoma parodying Pokémon than a serious Pokémon in its own right. Dragons have…

Never say never, but nothing has been announced beyond Z-A. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if some Pokémon spin-off makes its way into the Switch 2 launch window releases.

I am disappointed that it does require resources to trade. Surely the cards themselves are a limited resource? I doubt they are going to make trading cheaper, but I hope that they open up the restrictions on sets and rarity over time. Sadly, I think trading will become more restrictive over time, not less. I hope I'm…

At first I thought you were asking about the route design itself. I thought you said the best route 1 in Pokémon. Does Route 29 in Johto count as a route 1, or is that Kanto Route 1? Does the route have to literally be called "Route 1" to count? (I have typed the word "route" too much. It no longer looks like a real word.)…

Probably Misty. At least Celebi requires the opponent to evolve Snivy and attach a couple of energy before it can be reliably effective, although the opponent might get lucky anyway. But Misty is pure random chance, and sometimes an opponent can be handed an overwhelming advantage on turn 1 with no effort on their part.…

The convenience of digital clients is great, and I am glad we have that as an option, but nothing compares to the in-person experience. I made many of my real life friends I am still in contact with to this day through in-person card games. I hope it never truly dies. Since you already know how to play the game I will skip…

I think the game would really benefit from a proper ranked ladder to keep the sweaty players occupied. Also, the battle stance thing isn't necessarily obvious to a lot of players (I myself just noticed it a few days ago despite playing since launch) so more competitive players may unintentionally intrude in beginner games.…
