The trading system is awful. By design, of course. If they made it too easy to acquire the cards you want via trading, you wouldn't buy as many packs. I am not sure when the restriction will be lifted, but you can only trade cards ★ rarity or below from the first set, Genetic Apex. They might enable later sets or higher…
