Honestly, if going back to 2D sprites means that Pokemon can actually DO more with their games (as in add more features and maybe even a full National Pokedex again), then I have to say I'm all for it. I've seen some people put Pokemon in an art style like Octopath Traveller, which uses sprites on a more 3D environment.…

@RiqMoran I mean, nothing's wrong with having type overlaps. Though I usually abide by the following loose guidelines with such things: 3 or more Pokemon can't share the same weakness in a team. Both Pokemon should be dual typed if they share a type- preferably each having a secondary type that no other team member has.

@Noshaddow22 It'd be one thing if the characters ended up being more powerful than they initially perceived, but no- according to another discussion on these forums (which mentioned an interview with a developer), it was FULLY INTENTIONAL that Zacian is stronger than other mons.
