That's not my experience.

It already has challenge notifications. Considering their connection issues already, I don't think spectate mode should be a priority. In-game chat is meh. Don't really care.

Nope. Sounds like you have connection issues.

There is nothing they can do about that. It would be way more unfair to make an instant loss after one turn of AFK. It's also more likely that they DC'd than rage quit. Just relax. Also closing the game counts as conceding.
