Yeah, we were only making those claims because somebody had said they were using the Mew VMAX deck and said that both players ended up desyncing. I don't like the deck so didn't waste resources making one to find out, and nobody else came forward about the truth of it until a few days ago.

I don't think the shuffling is bugged. IIRC I always got that error when I forgot my VPN due to a IP geolocation error. I'd open a support ticket. You may have to do so several times, or to request the ticket get escalated before they actually read it, but they should be able to unblock your IP if that is the problem.

Go to deck edit and choose the Format filter. Filter to "None" or "All" I'm not sure which. All your Black & White and XY cards should be viewable. You can view alternate arts by clicking on a card and clicking the "Available" button below them.

No I am not. It does seem you are right. I was going by the initial reports from people claiming it did desync both, but it looks like other people have been able to reproduce it otherwise. You are recommended to restart the client after running into the bug. Once you desync, you seem to stay in that state, which causes issues with joining games.
