The cards will be playable in expanded at some point in the future. I assume they'll add expanded friend battles after that

And also, did you make sure to use the ability before attacking? It doesn't just work on its own. You have to click on the Pokemon it's attached to and use the ability before you attack.

It's probably intentional. They've done this before. You get the decklist and the cards you don't have. The devs are afraid of being too generous.

You're desyncing frequently. Check your connection.

@Infernomaker1 That's not a bug. You get sent back a league at every reset it's intentional.
