It's because you DC'd. It might have been on your end or the server's but you had lost already by that point. If the opponent goes more than a minute without any actions. Just close and reopen your client because the match is already over, and you lost.

What were you playing against?

If a Pokémon is switched from the active to the bench, effects of attacks on it are removed. This is not a bug.

What was the retreat cost changed to? And you both went an entire turn without playing any cards?

The devs have no control over what cards are printed or the rules of the game.

These probably weren't bugs. You likely just didn't read some card in play. Impossible to know though since you gave zero information and expect the devs to just read your mind.

While I'm tired of bugs happening, I'm more tired of people who don't know how to submit bugs, don't know basic rules, or don't read and then get upset when you say anything to them.
