If it's getting worse, you should make sure your ISP or modem isn't having stability issues. That said, this isn't a good platform for testing for a ton of reasons. I recommend finding a webcam tabletop community for that.

The advanced feature of reconnecting. It's really obvious that these are all new devs who don't have even the basics down. It took over a year after the start of the beta for them to figure out how to set flags. You're probably better off seeing if you can get people to come together and make a fan client at this point.

If you're playing on PC, try syncing your system time with a server. It might be a few seconds off.

The devs don't have enough experience to implement advanced features like that. That said, if your connection is poor you're screwed even if they fix the desync issue.

As far as playing goes, YGO has always been more popular. But it's irrelevant because they'd have to add microtransactions and that would just piss people off even more. Nothing short of a reboot is saving this.
