It's caused by the Fusion Strike Energy. The devs ONCE AGAIN took a programming shortcut, and instead of making SSS place an effect on the player to take an extra prize, it places an effect on the defending Pokemon to give up an extra prize. We need people who know how to play the game on the team, seriously.

As I thought... The common thread is an Nvidia GPU. My laptop with an AMD APU has never had these issues, nor has my phone. I'll start playing more on my desktop to be sure though.

All of this math doesn't really matter. The fact of the matter is that it's possible, so it doesn't prove anything. Bad luck is a thing that happens. I've had improbably stupid luck in PTCGO too.

Read cards, please. Max Miracle's damage isn't affected by effects on the defending Pokemon. Miltank's ability applies an effect that affects damage. Therefore, Max Miracle ignores Miltank's protection.

Was Path to the Peak in play? That would remove Palkia's ability, allowing it to attack.
