That is by design. All effects of attacks are removed when switching to the bench. This also applies to "can't attack next turn" effects, just to save you from making that particular "bug" report down the road. @DoubleCure fact check please

Wow, the mods here are useless. Currently, cards before Sun and Moon aren't functional on the game. We don't know when they'll be playable. You can still view the cards if you set the filter to show all cards; setting it to Expanded won't show them yet. @DoubleCure Fact check please
