Patches are more common and consistent now actually. A year ago they were only patching with set releases.

The bot uses the premade decks you get at the start. Unfortunately though, making smart AI requires skill that the team doesn't have, and making a full, fleshed out single player mode requires time and manpower that they don't have. I've seen some people claim this is only a visual bug.

Most likely you're trying to move counters to a Pokemon that's immune to effects of abilities. Usually, this would be a Pokemon with Fusion Strike Energy attached. Not a bug, you just need to make sure that you read all cards in play and check the red and green arrows.

You have to set the filter to show all cards, not Expanded. Cards from before Sun and Moon aren't playable yet. In addition, card arts are stacked together and the number shown only shows individual cards.
