I actually completely disagree in regards to gen 4. Some of my favorite Pokémon designs are gen 4, such as Shinx, Infernape, Empoleon, Buizel, and Lucario.2 -

I want a life sized Lucario myself, but I wish it wasn’t so expensive. A lot of things on the official Pokemon store are pretty pricey if I’m gonna be honest.1 -

I guess I would say Heart Gold or Soul Silver, but I have to be honest. I don’t care all that much for the main series. I love Mystery Dungeon, Pokken, and all the other spin offs much more than I do…3
