  • Maybe some day, but for the time being you can't. Currently Expanded is SM onward on Live. Since they're letting us transfer cards that are BW onwards I assume that the intent is to make those cards playable eventually, but right now you can't use them.

  • Note that some abilities end your turn as part of their effect; Intrepid Sword is one of them. The others that you mentioned shouldn't though so I don't know what's going on there.
