That was likely a silent disconnect. Normal losses due to inactivity will end the game long before the 25-minute limit.

Have you checked your deck lists under expanded? I think all of those decks have some cards that rotated out of standard straight out of box.

You might have skipped the animation without realizing it? The packs do let you "open" them like real packs when you first receive them, but if you somehow skipped the animation (by hitting collect all or, presumably, if the client crashes right as you're collecting them) it doesn't tell you a second time so you'd have to…

This is still an ongoing issue as of the latest update. The deck editor and shop in particular seem to cause overheat much faster.

they could also just. make it a pop-up like they do for mulligans. It's possible to time out on those, so it's not like you should reasonably be able to stall if a card is revealed from a search. I suppose it's also possible this is an intended feature to encourage players to be actively paying attention to the screen but…
