Three weeks is really not enough for an update?

Really? Isn't this a beta? The game is desolated, nobody plays. So many things need fixing/improving and 3 weeks is not enough for any considerable change?

Fully released games get updated more often, what a shame.

There was server maintenance last week, which is just as important as client updates for fixing the issues. Also, this isn't even the longest it's gone between updates.

The devs are not experienced with early access, and the PMs are afraid to admit that the game has any flaws, so this is what we get unfortunately. There will be a client update to add Pokemon GO around July 1st, and then nothing until September. Sadly, that's just how it is.

Also, the previous update barely fixed anything after a month and a half, so weekly client updates probably wouldn't really help much anyway.

I would appreciate some closure from the Devs instead of the usual cookie-cutter answer

@Baggetto You do know what "closure" means, right? Because unless you think the lack of a client update in 3 weeks means the project has been quietly abandoned that word doesn't fit in this context.

10 additional days is still not enough? Are there even any employees left working on this thing?

The next update will be next week, and the one after that will be the week of September 5th. The devs are still working, but they're treating it as if it's a finished product that only needs updates to add features. I guess that's what inexperienced devs lead by PMs who don't need to care will get you.

That's why I wish this had microtransactions. Then they'd have to think about revenue and would finally take it seriously.

How do you know that the next update will be next week?

Wonder whether we'll be getting another 'letter from the devs" any time soon or whether that was a one-off.

@jon11w Pokemon GO set releases next week so they'll have to patch in support.

"Are there even any employees left working on this thing?" Some times it seems like it's just 3 Bidoof in a trench coat...

The date on the new update is June 6. They did have an update ready in 2 weeks but they couldn't release it because it also contained pokemon go cards.

The problem is that this won't include any bug fixes that were made in the 3 weeks after that.
