Using Ultra ball with 0 cards left in deck breaks the game

I played ultra ball when there were 0 cards left in my deck and it just stayed where the currently being played card goes without bringing up the prompt for discarding cards, it did however let me attempt to retreat my Charizard V, at which point it stayed in the space the currently being retreated card goes without bringing up the prompt or allowing me to select a different pokemon.

Weird (but not really for Live) that it would even let you play it. Looks like it realized after you played it that it's an illegal action due to no cards in deck. The game should not have let you play it.

Raise a ticket for this one.

This type of bugs are very critical! Devs you really should focus on bugs that break the game like this before the official launch on June 8.

It will be a really bad look to a leave the Beta stage and still have this kind of breaking game bugs specially with cards like Ultra Ball used almost in every top deck!

    Hello Trainer,

Thank you for reporting this. I'll escalate this to the development team for review.

Eh... Not really in this particular case since the only people who will do this are either curious or just don't know the rules.

It can happen more then you think even in tournaments when have many cards in hand and none left in deck then use a item (utra ball to thin or whatever) followed by a Judge, Marnie, etc. and the game goes on (just because you have zero cards in deck doesn't mean the game is over!!).

For those that don't participate in tournaments may think in your simplistic way... but for sure this bug would be terrible in a competition so yes it's very critical.

You can't do that in tournaments. You're not allowed to play search cards with an empty deck.

Obviously you can and will cost you a game as explained in the bug.

Also I exposed a situation how you can fall for it and unintentionally play against the rules (I'm talking about tcg Live tournaments, irl you don't have this bug lol).

That's why is very critical to fix it... or you want people to lose a game because of a bug and cause a mess in a tournament over this?

Nah... it happens many times, even in tournaments you have a large hand and zero cards then use the items like utra ball and a Judge, Marnie, etc. to continue the game. It may be strange for people like you that only play Casual.
