Game froze, snipe damage placed on the wrong Pokemon

I was at the end of a ladder match, attacking with Radiant Greninja. I dragged the 90 damage tokens on my opponent's 2 Comfey normally, but then the game stalled for about 60 seconds. During this time, my opponent and I were still both able to send emotes. Once it unfroze, the damage had been placed onto the wrong Pokemon. I lost because of the bug :(
