@TechHog how come having more resources dedicate to PTCG Live does not impact the game development including bug fixes?
Are you implying they use the additional resources on escort services or perhaps they give that extra money to the poor african children?

PTCGO was made by a company called Dire Wolf.
PTCGL is being made by an internal team within TPCi.
Dire Wolf is not involved in Live's development and is not owned by TPCi.
Therefore, PTCGO devs and resources will not be moved to PTCGL on the shutdown. Servers might, but that's about it.

Then explain exactly what you think will happen if they shut down PTCGO to help with PTCGL.
Because it sounds like you think that the PTCGO devs would be moved to PTCGL, but that's not the case. It's like thinking that the Pokken and New Snap teams will move to helping with Gen 10 now that those games are done.

Pokémon TCG Online Sunset FAQ - When will the Pokémon TCG Online be sunsetted?
The Pokémon TCG Online app will be removed from the App Store, Google Play, and Pokemon.com—and game servers will be shut down—prior to the official worldwide launch of Pokémon TCG Live.
While the Pokémon TCG Online will remain active during the Pokémon TCG Live beta, which is now available globally, no new Pokémon TCG products, cards, or deck accessories will be added to the game following March 1, 2023. This update will help ensure that more development resources are dedicated to making Pokémon TCG Live the best experience possible for players.
