Used 600 crystals to unlock Premium Battle Pass but server timeout, crystals gone

As per the title. Earned 600 crystals to unlock the premium battle pass , but then there was a server timeout. Checked and found that not only did the 600 crystals disappear, the Premium Battle Pass isn’t unlocked.
Any help would be appreciated.

Update. The app just crashed on its own, and when I restarted the Premium Battle pass is now active. Leaving this here so others may see it and be aware

If you try to obtain something using any currency (coins, crystals or credits, this applies to all 3) and the server gives you an error, close the app and re-open it. You will have what you tried to get.
It only eats your currency if you try to obtain the same thing again before closing the app.
