Buying single cards

How do we use our exchange credits to purchase single cards? I have a couple cards I would like to buy to finish a deck I am building but can't figure out how to accomplish this.

Set the filter to "not owned" or all (or just import a decklist with the cards you don't have), click the card you want after searching for it, and click the Exchange button to the right. It's done in the deck builder, not the shop, which I assume is what was confusing to you.
