Which Pokémon VMAX? And was anything else in play like Path to the Peak? Be specific when reporting these. 80% of the time when people say a card is bugged they really just either didn't read another card properly or didn't understand a ruling.

If its the building looking-like Pokemon, Duraludon VMax, its damage isnt affected by anything on the opponents active Pokemon. There are a number of effects like this so dont bank on your Zamazenta walling your opponent completely.

Raikou Lightning Rondo did 220 damage with only 5 bench their side and 2 my side, then 230 with 5 and 1, no special energy cards attached, it does 20+ for each benched Pokémon. Maybe a bench card upping its power, was a thunder deck?
