Timer running at 3 seconds

This issue is coming up again, after being fixed.

The move timer is at 3 seconds which means I basically loss instantly because it starts when it's drawing a card.

As per the rules (I'm a professor) it should only kick in AFTER there has been inactivity, not instantly, and yet, here we are, with it broken again just weeks before it is meant to come out of beta

It's not coming out of beta.

And it's caused by a connection issue.

    It's possible that they're server-side connection issues.

I had the turn timer/turn skip issue on PC for months too, and I actually found a way to fix it

I uninstalled the game, made sure to delete whatever folder was left that it was installed in, deleted my temp files, cleared my recycle bin, and then reinstalled. I think the game is leaving some junk data that’s messing it up in the temp folders between updates/installs otherwise

Don’t use the disk cleanup utility, mine had turned out to actually not be deleting my temp folders at all. Type “temp” into the search bar in windows and follow the prompts in “delete temporary files” or whatever pops up there.

Hope this works for you all like it worked for me!

Same problem here, it came back when the problem was gone. Unable to play.

The uninstall and delete everything method doesn't fix it

    Additional steps I have tried:

    • rebooting pc
    • rebooting modem
    • creating a new account
    • deleting everything related to tcgl/tcpi
    • deleting files related to unity and vuplex
    • randomly deleting everything in the system registry related to tcgl/tcpi

More additional steps that did not work:

    • signing in as a different windows user
    • using a vpn to connect to the game through the Netherlands instead of Canada
    • installing the game on a windows sandbox instance

It seems like the game is just broken on my windows hardware. Installing an android emulator and playing the mobile client did not have the timer issue.

I think it's driver related, likely graphics driver.
