Alolan Vulpix VSTAR Bugged

I was just playing in a match against a Palkia VSTAR deck, attacked with my Snow Mirage attack which should prevent all date by Pokemon with an ability, but was knocked out by Palkia VSTAR's Subspace Swell on the following turn.

  Was Path to the Peak in play? That would remove Palkia's ability, allowing it to attack.
