Every time I use an ability it ends my turn

I can't figure out how to use an ability on a benched or active pokemon without it ending my turn like an attack does.

All of them I have tried. Evolution roar, Primate Wisdom, Intrepid Sword are some. Also, I'm not clicking end turn.

Note that some abilities end your turn as part of their effect; Intrepid Sword is one of them. The others that you mentioned shouldn't though so I don't know what's going on there.

No I'm not clicking end turn, it just ends my turn like I did an attack. Even if the pokemon is on the bench when I use the ability.

Could it be timing you out, from a weak connection or bug in the game or just taking too long? It’s done that to me a few times.

Are you playing on an old device, or maybe with a weak internet connection?

if the game lags a decent amount of time, you may time out before the timer even shows on your screen.
