Pokémon TCG, without the “Trading” part ?

My daughter and I both loved to open packs in Online. Plus the function in being able to search the database in which cards we liked or wanted. And the fact we had a lot of unopened packs still in Online but don’t see see where they are in Live now…

TCG, trading card game but where's the ability to trade ?

Where can I see all my unopened packs or did they all get opened magically when I merged ?

You should have read the FAQ. Your unopened packs were converted to crystals. They're gone. There's also no such thing as unopened packs on Live.

"Trading card game" is just a phrase, or else the gameplay irl would involve trading during a match. The reason Live doesn't have it is because it has a credit system to buy cards instead, like all other major digital TCGs except PTCGO. Furthermore, TCG was only chosen over CCG for the name because it was the more popular option in English in the 90s. It's the Pokemon CCG in most other languages.
