Opinion on US/UM?
These are some of my favorite games in the franchise, yet I see very little discussion about them. The games are very fun in my opinion even if they have many flaws to them.

I honestly find them a lot more disappointing than the original SM, which are imo probably the best mainline games since Pokemon went 3D.
I didn't care for the "ultra changes" to the plot following the Aether foundation, along with Rainbow Rocket's pandering in the post-game.
Don't get me wrong, they're miles above gen 8 and 9 though lol.

Mantine Surf was one of the most soulful minigames ever. The photo club was good too. Roto Loto was also a pretty broken mechanic for letting you use 2 z moves in one battle.
I spent a lot of time getting to grade 50 battle agency back then too, right after it unlocked so I had sophocles as the final boss instead of Giovanni.
