Pokemon is cool, and I'm tired of pretending it's not.
"Pokemon bad this, Pokemon bad that"
We've seen ENOUGH of that already. These games deserves criticisms in all of its glory, yes. And I hope that with TPC creating a forum website for us Pokemon fans to socialize with one another, they truly hear the crowd of this community and understand that these games do need to relax on the yearly releases, especially with the state the recent installment, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, are in.
BUT
We shouldn't forget about the monumental impact each of these games can have on someone, including the modern Pokemon games, too! These games have their flaws, but they always have something that anyone can cherish from them: The region, the characters, the story and lore, the gameplay, and even the Pokemon themselves! Especially the Pokemon! They're the main star of this franchise, after all!
This fact alone is why I'll always believe that Pokemon was cool back then and still is cool now, regardless of what anyone says otherwise! I adore this series so much, and while I do wish for improvements: I do enjoy what I've played from the games thus far.
(Btw, Pikachu did nothing wrong and you can't convince me otherwise. 👍️)
