I'VE HAD ENOUGH

***WILL COMPLAIN ABOUT THE MATCHMAKING UNTIL IT GETS FIXED OR I GET BANNED - WHICHEVER COMES FIRST***

Hello, I've been a player ever since the start of Pokémon Unite on the Nintendo Switch and played it every single day up until now. What was once a fun experience quickly turned into a frustrating one, and I was foolish enough to believe things would ever improve after 2 years... As such, here are my brief concerns with the game:

1) THE MATCHMAKING

As a >60% win rate player who mostly plays solo/duo/trio and rarely 5-stacks, the matchmaking is absolutely AWFUL. At least 90% of the matches I play in have players below a 50% win rate, and matches quickly become about who can carry these terrible players better instead of improving against similar skilled ones... I get this is a casual game and fast matchmaking is given priority, but trust me when I say that I'D RATHER NOT PLAY A MATCH THAN PLAY WITH <50% WIN RATE PLAYERS, AND WOULD HAPPILY WAIT UP TO 10 MINUTES IF IT MEANT HAVING A FAIR MATCH OR NOT PLAY AT ALL

And if that wasn't enough, once you play at the start of a new ranked season or reach 2200+ points, you get paired up against 5-stack teams WHEN THIS SHOULD NEVER BE A THING IN THE FIRST PLACE. A typical non-5-stack match for me consists of 60% (me)/45%/48%/49%/50% win rate players vs. a team of 49%/52%/53%/55%/56%, something along those lines... How is this acceptable and fair to me, and why do I get punished for being a dedicated player?

2) THE COMEBACK FACTORS

As if the matchmaking wasn't bad enough already, Rayquaza (or rather, the x2 score multiplier when it spawns) is an OP mechanic making games more about coinflips than actual a test of teamfighting skills. Most of the time the first 8 minutes of the game don't matter at all when all you need is a last-hit on Rayquaza, making the first 80% of the match redundant and putting WAY too much emphazis on the last 20% of the match, all in the spirit of "player retention"

It never feels fair losing to Rayquaza nor winning with it and my suggestion would be to AT LEAST make it harder to claim or remove x2 score multiplier (other than, say, in the home goal...) Also it's funny how quickly you decided to change Rayquaza and the new map whereas matchmaking have mostly stayed the same, but we all know you won't improve it because 90% of the playerbase are casuals and you want them to keep playing the game so that in turn they're more likely to spend money at the expense of your dedicated players because "we will play anyway"...

3) THE LACK OF BALANCE UPDATES

This should be pretty self-explanatory unless you've been living under a rock for the last couple of months (or in the devs's case: money piles) NEXT~

4) THE MONETIZATION AND GACHA SYSTEMS

It's no surprise that a large portion of the playerbase is played by kids yet you have no shame in introducing gambling systems that can be paid with real money (the biggest offender being the newly introduced Prize Machine YET - AND FOR NOW anyway...)

Also your visual representations of spinning weels where the "jackpot prize" is indicated bigger visually than what the true odds suggest (assuming most kids can decipher odds and read the fineprint...) is very misleading and deceiving. I know that you know and you can fool the children but not the rest, and I sincerely hope a lawsuit action is being filed soon against these predatory practices

I know this will fall on deaf ears like usual given no significant improvements have been made despite Unite being in developement for 2 years and getting these constant complaints, as no real significant conversation between the developers and playerbase have been taking place, thus I'm on the verge of qutting Unite for good (just like many of my friends already have done)

-Sincerely, a once dedicated player that have had enough and has lost all hopes of the game actually improving for the better and where the in-game systems are being stacked against you should you have a high win rate
