Highlights

• Kirlia (SIT #068), Gardevoir (SIT #069): Fixed an issue where using Kirlia's Refinement Ability prevented Gardevoir from using the Refinement Ability on the same turn after evolving.
• Zoroark (EVS #103): Fixed an issue where the Phantom Transformation Ability was incorrectly able to select another Zoroark.
• Fixed an issue where mulligans showed Basic Pokémon.
• Fixed an issue where the Prize cards disappeared from play under certain circumstances.
• Fixed an issue in the Deck Editor where the owned card count occasionally showed more than the max limit.

Avatar

• Fixed an issue where avatars could equip clothing items that the player did not own.

Cards

• Fixed an issue where some cards in certain languages were missing portions of the card art.
• Manaphy (BSP #SWSH275): The additional effect of the Aqua Bullet attack now correctly does damage to a Benched Pokémon.
• Serperior VSTAR (SIT #008): The Regal Blender attack no longer prompts the player to move Energy when no targets are available.

Deck Manager/Editor

• Fixed an issue where searching for certain cards in the Deck Editor screen caused visual issues to occur.
• Fixed an issue where there was a character limit when searching cards.

Gameplay/Battle

• Fixed an issue where the Evolution sound effect played for the opponent's Pokémon even when sound was muted.
• Fixed an issue where certain game-board transitions were not playing.
• Fixed an issue during a match where the player could not switch between pages on the Global Status Effect filters.

General

• Fixed an issue where occasionally, when navigating through menus, the top navigation bar disappeared.

Matchmaking

• Fixed an issue in the match results where the win/loss condition was not displayed.

Tutorial (FTUE)

• Fixed an issue where certain actions during the tutorial could cause the client to become unresponsive.

2:50 PM PDT: After today's maintenance, the team is aware of an issue where players are experiencing matchmaking problems. We're investigating and will update here with new information as it becomes available. Thank you for your patience during this time.

4:12 PM PDT: The team is making adjustments that will not lock players out of the game. During this time, players may experience issues with disconnecting from matches or other interactions with the game itself. We will update you once this concludes.

5:00 PM PDT: This issue has been resolved. If you're still experiencing issues with matchmaking, please restart your client. If these issues or new ones persist, please get in touch with our Support Team and report any additional information.

• Gardevoir ex (SVI #086): Fixed an issue where the Psychic Embrace Ability could not be used under certain circumstances.
• Added support for playing the alternate-art versions of Pokémon V-UNION.
• Fixed an issue where occasionally a valid deck for Expanded play was marked invalid and could not be used to find a match.
• Fixed an issue where players were being matched with multiple opponents, which led to multiple match losses and high ladder point decreases.

• Hair color is now retained when switching hairstyles.

Cards

• Skwovet (SVI #151): Fixed an issue where the Nest Stash Ability did not shuffle the cards before putting them on the bottom of the deck.
• Morpeko V-UNION (SWSH287–SWSH290): Fixed an issue where the V-UNION prompt was unavailable when all necessary cards were in the discard pile.
• Trapinch (BRS #074): Fixed an issue with the Rising Lunge attack where the additional damage was preemptively granted regardless of the coin flip outcome.

Code Card Redemption

• Fixed an issue where Black & White—Evolving Powers booster packs were granting incorrect cards.

Gameplay/Battle

• Fixed an issue where certain shuffle actions did not randomize the card order.
• Fixed an issue where the opponent's Benched Pokémon didn't always highlight when they should have been selectable.
• Fixed interactions between effects that change a Pokémon's Weakness.

Installation/Patching

• Fixed an issue on the desktop client where the update window UI appeared smaller than intended.

Shop

• Fixed an issue where the Energy symbol did not show up correctly in the Energy card name.

Pokémon TCG Live 1.5.0 Discussion Thread

The team is aware that players could not claim the Tier 0 Battle Pass Miraidon ex at 10:00 AM PDT when the new Scarlet & Violet expansion went live.   

The Miraidon ex then deck appeared in the Tier 0 Battle Pass reward for players to claim after an hour had passed. For players who have already claimed their Tier 0 reward and cannot attain the new deck, please get in touch with our Support Team.

• Switching hair color for a newly selected hairstyle won't save and will automatically default to the original hair color in the avatar preview.

• Rayquaza (VIV #138): Fixed an issue where the Amazing Burst attack gained increased damage for duplicate Energy attached.
• Hisuian Arcanine (SIT #090): Fixed an issue where the Irresistible Force Ability forced the player to transfer all Energy off all Pokémon.
• Octillery (BST #037): Fixed an issue where the Global Status Conditions indicator was missing when using the Rapid Strike Search Ability.
• Fixed an issue where certain positive effects were missing from the Status Effects window when active.

Gameplay/Battle

• Fixed an issue on the mobile client during gameplay where the quick sort buttons for the hand did not work.
• Fixed an issue where the Poison visual effects replayed when inspecting the opponent's card.
• Fixed an issue where the Prize cards disappeared from play under certain circumstances.
• Fixed an issue where using the Stadium effect was not displayed to the opponent.
• Fixed an issue where the Energy pips for certain attack costs did not fill to match the Pokémon's attached Energy.
• Fixed an issue where the emote menu and selection menu could be opened at the same time.
• Fixed an issue where the highlight was missing from cards that could be played from the discard pile.
• Fixed an issue where the Energy pip for Retreat Costs of more than 4 did not fill when at least 1 Energy was attached.

Ranked Ladder

• Fixed an issue where claimed rewards appeared unclaimed under certain conditions.

Deck Manager/Editor

• Fixed an issue on the desktop client where an unowned copy of a card would be added to the deck instead of the owned variant when dragging cards into the deck.
