Really depends on what you're looking for. I personally think Sun and Moon was the best with character writing, and Scarlet and Violet were also pretty great in the story department- not to mention how likable all the characters are.

I would probably have to say Magmortar. Magmar is alright as it is but Magmortar is one of my favorite Fire-types. Though I also really like Togekiss.

Honestly, Eevee could very well have an evolution for every type. Personally, though, Flying is the one I want to see the most.

I'd prefer Alola with Malie City. Starter would probably be a Rowlet

Cynthia is definitely the best imo.

@Wryl_909 One idea I had is that the gyms could be type themed but gym leaders could also have a secondary theme that dictates what other kinds of Pokemon they use
