Sun and Moon are already playable. They're already working on BW and XY. It's not like they can just press a button and make everything work. HGSS is gone forever

Slight correction: Sun and Moon is playable, but everything before it isn't.

The crafting system is better than trading for getting cards. It just needs a better economy and a way to turn cards we don't need into credits. The other big TCG apps don't have trading either.

It wasn't broken. You just weren't hitting a Pokémon in the active with a weakness to Water. Slow down and read the rules and the cards more.

Try searching in the Pokemon tab. Some of them are there for some reason.

You still have the cards. They just aren't playable in the game yet. For now, Expanded in this game is Sun and Moon-on. That won't change until at least next spring, but probably several years.
