This is a terrible idea for a ranked ladder, especially when the format is meant to match IRL play. Just wait for release and hope that when it's available globally there will be more people playing on the casual ladder. I hate Fusion Strike too, but let's be reasonable.

You mean the one that isn't out yet? Astral Radiance is the next set, and it releases in paper on May 27th. New main sets release roughly every 3 months.
