Can you not just log out your account before closing the game? Genuine question, I've never log out my account.

Can you give an example? what happened that makes you think that?

Pokemon tcg uses a "set rotation". at some point every year the oldest cards in the standard format become illegal, with the intention to keep the card pool small and keep the game fresh. This has happened to me multiple times also, but there's also times when my opponent concedes while I'm dragging an energy and it doesn't bug. To be more specific, i believe it happens if your opponent concedes during the energy attachment animation, i just said the damage animation because 95% of the attachment animation…

If you try to obtain something using any currency (coins, crystals or credits, this applies to all 3) and the server gives you an error, close the app and re-open it. You will have what you tried to get. It only eats your currency if you try to obtain the same thing again before closing the app.

Did some testing about this and i found what is happening. Testing in ranked/Casual = Arven, Irida, CEL mew, pokéstop and and cram-o-matic didn't count tools as items Testing in test mode = Arven, Irida, CEL mew, pokéstop and cram-o-matic DID count tools as item. Conclusion? The bug is exclusive to test mode.

Other players have reported before that syncing your system time on your PC fixes the issue.
